Convention Over - Bittersweet

I am back from convention. What a fun time it was. Since I am very new at blogging, this is my first time at putting pictures in. Somehow my pictures are showing up ahead of my post. The picture on the left was Saturday morning (July 24th) and my upline Tammi (on the left) and myself are standing in line at the UPS office to ship some of our stuff home. The picture on the right is again, Tammi, myself and my downline Debbie on the right as soon as convention ended. But just before it ended Shelley made a few announcements that there are going to be changes that are still in the works and her finale was this package of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper, the new Silver Glass Glitter, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin pad and the Level 2 stamp set out of the new Holiday Mini called Peaceful Season. What a way to end convention.

I hope all of you who couldn't go this year will try to go next year. There is so much to take in (that's what camera's are for I think) and so much to learn. The presenters were all fantastic, the guest speaker was WOW!!. I really don't know what more I can say about her.

My brain is still overloaded with all kinds of great information so I am having a hard hard time right now just thinking of what to put down. I still need to finish unpacking, go to my stamp room and try to get a little organized and work on cards for my card classes in August.
If any of you would like to attend, the dates are August 10th and August 17th. You can email me at sandyh218@hotmail.com to reserve your spot.

I hope this finds you all well and in good health.

Blessings,
Sandy

Convention Bound

Well, today is finally here and my upline, downline, two sidelines and myself will be heading out to convention. I am really pumped up about going. I have, over this past year started my SU business and it is going pretty well, but I have never had a workshop. That's pretty much what it is all about. I hope to get plenty of tips on having workshops and how to make the most of them.

I am adding pictures of my swap cards, and a 6 x 6 recipe card for a swap that I am in. I am very excited about all the swaps. This just gives me all the more reason to want to hold workshops.

I hope this finds all of you well and healthy.

Blessings,

Sandy

I'm Back

The last two weeks have been really crazy. I haven't been able to post. I injured my back on or about July 2. On July 4th, I was in excruciating pain and after about fifteen hours, had my husband call 911. I was taken to the hospital and put on pain meds and muscle relaxers. After lots of meds, and x-rays, I was released to go home five hours later. This is not a good time for anything like this to happen. I am going to convention even if I have to be carried on the plane. I am feeling much better, and taking it easy so I make sure I don't miss convention.

I would love to show you a couple of my general card swaps, but unfortunately, I am not the brightest star in the sky and don't know how to upload them here to my blog. When I get that figured out, then I will have plenty of pictures to show.

I hope this finds all of you in good health. Have a terrific weekend, and if you are going to convention, maybe somehow we will run into each other.

Blessings,

Sandy
